Laura FlamionI have a passion for helping organizations and individuals make better financial decisions. I spent the first half of my career as a small business owner, managing the financial and operations divisions of both a retail and service based business. After the sale of my last business I went back to school to study financial planning and spent the later part of my career in wealth management. Throughout that time, I kept my accounting and Quickbooks knowledge current by volunteering for non profits in a financial management capacity. In 2016, I left banking and started Clear Impact Financial so I could dedicate myself in service to helping others through education, sharing of best practices and full charge bookkeeping.
I take every opportunity to attend seminars, conferences and collaborate with other bookkeepers and financial managers across the country. I am a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and a certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor. I specialize in working with clients on the Quickbooks Online platform. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family, being physically active, and volunteering with seniors and animals. |
Non Profits |
My passion for volunteerism and making an impact in the world led me to extensive professional development in the non profit sector. Having completed numerous courses in non profit management and by gaining experience leading various charities, I have a deep understanding of donor development and fundraising. These core competencies, combined with clear financial data management and reporting allows me to help non profits increase their impact. I provide financial clarity, share best practices and consult on cloud based solutions to more effectively and efficiently run your organization.

Small Businesses |
My experience as a small business owner provides me the unique perspective in understanding how I can add value to your bookkeeping processes so you can focus on other areas of your business. I take the time to understand your business, processes and pain points so we can develop a work flow and plan that makes sense for you.

Financial & Daily Money Management |
I can apply similar concepts to your personal life as a daily money manager by developing budgets, bill pay systems, financial counseling and more. As a wealth manager I developed financial plans for families and consulted on retirement and college planning as well as charitable gifting strategies. I also volunteer with DuPage County Senior Services helping low income seniors with daily money management, so I am keenly aware of the challenges people face as they try to remain independent for as long as possible.
